KIDS SUSHI - 1x 185g can tuna, drained
- 1/2 cup whole egg mayonnaise
- 2 soft boiled eggs, peeled and chopped
- 1 Tablespoon chopped chives
- 1 cup shredded cooked chicken
- 1 Tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 Tablespoon honey
- 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
- 6 sheets nori paper
- 1 cup cooked sushi rice
- soy sauce to serve
Place tuna and 1/4 cup of mayonnaise in a bowl and mix to combine. Set aside. Place eggs in a bowl with the remaining mayonnaise, mash with a fork and stir through the chives. Set aside. Place a sheet of nori on a chopping board. Spread 2 tablespoons of rice along one edge of the sheet, leaving a 1cm border, and top with 1 tablespoon of either tuna, egg or chicken mixture. Brush the border with a little water and roll to enclose the filling, ensuring the seam is on the bottom. Repeat with the remaining ingredients. Slice the rolls and serve with soy sauce. Serves 6 |
