What an amazing fit this KiwiOz nanny and family are. First Leanne gets Nanny of the month and then we hear back exactly how much KiwiOz and her new nannying family have changed her life for the better!
Heres what she has to say -
What was your situation before you called KiwiOz? Why did you need our help?
I was a Secondary School Teacher in Devon and ended up falling really unwell due to the pressure and unsustainable workload. I was heartbroken as I love working with children and that is when a friend recommended KiwiOz to me. It is so refreshing to work with such a lovely family who have made me feel so at home but it's nice to also still have time for myself in the evenings and on the weekends which is something you do not get in teaching!
What has been the best part about working with KiwiOz?
The best part has without doubt been the two lovely children I look after. They're 9 year old twins and we have such good fun together! They make me laugh a lot but also ask the most fantastic questions! The parents are also easy to talk to so I never worry about having to tell them something the children have told me or done during the day. There are strict rules in the house on screen time so it means the children are encouraged to be outdoors and explore the city which is just such great fun!
Is there anything we could be doing to better help you?
Not at all! KiwiOz have been so supportive and I could not ask for a better family to work for!
If you're a parent, what is life like with your new nanny? If you're a Nanny, what is life like in your new job?
Life is brilliant! It's a long day but when the children are at school and any Nanny duties have been completed the parents are very keen for me to use the time to do things for myself: like going to the gym, shopping, reading. It's great to be back in a routine but the Summer holidays have especially been fun and I really enjoy coming up with ideas for play dates and different activities that I can do with the children. So far we have: hung out in St James' Park, watched Wimbledon games on the screen at Hyde Park, visited Dover Castle, completed a treasure trail that took us from London Bridge to Borough Market, to the Tate Modern to The Globe, to the Golden Hind and back to LI don't Bridge and we have also visited the Open Air Theatre in Regents Park to watch Oliver.
Nanny life could not be better!
