Today marked our first KiwiOz Kids event for 2016, where we celebrated the New Year by taking a trip to the Science Museum! I think we were secretly more excited than the kids were...
Here we explored the historical, cultural and spiritual context of Russian space travel. It was pretty cool to see all the memorabilia that belonged to some of the biggest names in spaceflight!
It wasn't long before the little ones found their way to the 'Discover Pod', where they engaged their 'touch' sense, discovering all sorts of fun and interesting things.
We ended the day in 'The Garden' playground, which is an exciting interactive space for the kids to explore. Areas included construction, water, light and sound, where the children learn about floating/sinking, shadows/reflections, and heaps more.
The Science Museum is such a great place to take your wee ones if you're ever stuck for ideas on what to do on a Rainy London Day :-)
It was so great to see everyone who was able to join us - we hope you had as much fun as we did!
Our little home dedicated to sprinkling some 'Down Under' Sunshine in the lives of London families and nannies ☺
