We recently tried our hand at ceramic painting at the Battersea Pottery Cafe, and had so much fun doing so!
None of us had ever painted ceramics before, so we found the experience really interesting. For example, the colour of the paint on the raw/un-glazed ceramic is completely different to how the colour will be once cooked/glazed. Lucky for us they had a handy colour-chart so we could make sure we were using the colours we actually wanted to achieve!
After spending a solid 20-minutes on Pinterest to get some inspiration, we all ended up painting very different designs - check them out for yourself (see above)!
This is such a great activity for all ages, and the Battersea Pottery Cafe cater to younger children as well - so it's a good option for you to do with the kids on a rainy day!
