FIND AN INTERNATIONAL NANNY
Are you looking for a professional nanny to live abroad with you?
We work with a number of high calibre candidates with international experience seeking positions abroad. We regularly source for locations such as Europe, UAE and Asia. We have partner offices in New Zealand and Australia and can assist you in all of these locations.
International nannies- hours
It is common for International Nannies to have work varied hours depending on your location and requirements. Some International Nannies will work fairly typical hours to cover dual working parents, e.g. Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 6pm.
Other families have more unique requirements and their Nanny will need to work six day per week roles or over a weekend.
As with any employee, you will be required to provide your International Nanny with an Employment Agreement complying with local employment laws. You must provide this to KiwiOz and to your interview candidates so they have a comprehensive understanding of the role they are considering.
Visa requirements for international nannies
Where ever you are based, you will need to ensure your nanny is eligible to be employed by you. She may have a passport which allows her to work (for example a British/EU passport for a Nanny in France). Or, she may be eligible for a Working Visa. If you are certain that you are able to employ a foreign nanny, then KiwiOz will be able to source a candidate for you based on the eligibility criteria.
The registration process for international nannies
Please call us on 020 3865 0913 to discuss your requirements for a Nanny abroad. We will assess your needs and timeframe, and our International Consultant will start sourcing for your unique role. As soon we have suitable applicants, we will provide you with a comprehensive Nanny Profile including a photo, written outline by the interviewing Consultant, CV, written references, transcripts of verbal reference checks and more. These in depth nanny profiles will give you all of the details you need to decide if the applicant is suitable for an interview.
Interviewing international nannies
Most of the time families conduct initial interviews for International Nanny positions over the phone or on Skype. We recommend speaking with your preferred candidate at least two to three times prior to offering a job or a trial.
Ensuring you have provided your Nanny with a complete Employment Agreement prior to her accepting the role is important. This means she is fully aware of all of the requirements of the role prior to starting a trial or placement with your family.
Some families choose to fly their nanny to their location for a trial period, you can discuss this option with your KiwiOz Consultant to decide if this is right for you.
