Sarah is an Australian candidate who has been living and working in London for the past 4 months and is travelling on a Tier 5 Youth Mobility Visa valid until end of April 2016.
Sarah is a lovely candidate who has great experience and has an early childhood qualification. Since arriving in London Sarah has been working as a nanny for a family in St John’s Wood. This is a both a sole and share charge role caring for boy 5 and girl 3. Her duties include picking and dropping the children up from school, meal preparation, organising fun and educational activities and light house work. Sarah really enjoys this role, however both children are now attending school, therefore her hours have been reduced.
Prior to coming to London Sarah was working in a childcare centre. Here Sarah would work with children aged from 5 weeks until 5 years old. She was an assistant teacher and later became a Group leader. Her duties included communicating well with parents and staff, changing nappies, bathing small babies, sterilising bottles, weaning babies onto solid foods and organising fun and educational activities. Although Sarah enjoyed working at the child care centre she enjoys forming closer relationships with children and their families.
Sarah is a creative person who enjoys doing arts and crafts with the children she is working with. She likes to put paper all over the floor and let the children get creative through painting and gluing. Sarah says she also likes to think out of the box for activities, like making up games and experiments. She says she often will pick up on an idea the children are interested in and expand on it through creating story books and other activities.
Sarah is also an active person. She says she is more than happy to play Soccer, or football and basketball with the children.
Sarah has a holiday booked from the 20th December until 2nd January. She is a non smoker and is in good health.
Sarah is a confident driver of automatic and manual vehicles and holds an Australian driving licence. Sarah has a First Aid Certificate issued in March 2014 and has a Working with Children Police check issued in May 2014.
