Replacement Guarantee


At KiwiOz we do everything we can to make a great match first time.

If an issue or problem arises at any point during the placement, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We can troubleshoot any issues and act as a sounding board or mediator in delicate situations. The sooner that happens, the better.

In our experience, most things can be resolved with good communication, empathy and an open mind. But with the best will in the world, sometimes things just don’t work out and the best action is to part ways and restart the search for a new nanny.

If that happens, and you are within the first four months of a placement, then you may be able to take advantage of the KiwiOz Replacement Guarantee.



It’s important to understand what went wrong and why the placement has ended. To avoid a recurrence, we’ll chat to you and your nanny and decide on the best way forward.

If your nanny has left the role due to unreasonable demands, a change in location, breach or change of contract/ job description or verbal or physical abuse, you won’t be covered by our replacement guarantee. You can read the full T&C’s here.



If you are eligible for the replacement guarantee, we will refine your job description and get some further clarification around your expectations. We’ll also discuss what worked/ didn’t work with your previous nanny and the changes we can make to ensure your next placement is successful.



Just like your initial search, this can take time. We may not have options for you straight away, but if your nanny has left immediately, we can help with a temporary nanny to provide emergency cover while we complete the permanent search.



Once we have suitable candidates interested in your position, their profiles will be sent to you to review. We will only send you candidates that meet your new requirements.



From here, the process is the same as your initial search.

We’ll help you set up interviews with candidates and be there to help agree the final job offer and provide ongoing support before and during the placement.
